Scare Fair

When Morgan and I got back from Coldstone we got ready to head out with some of the girls from our floor to a haunted cornfield. We had to layer up as the temperature was in the 40s.

Left to right: Kelley, Alli, Morgan, Me, Julie and Anna

There were three attractions: haunted cornfield, haunted house and toxic trauma. We did all three.
I hate being scared, I prefer to do the scaring so me and haunted houses don't get along. Just ask Morgan how scared I was, as I practically cut off circulation to her arm the whole time. The first haunted house was terrifying! After the house we headed to the haunted cornfield. Now I was on a roll in the cornfield with seeing the monsters before they jumped out. I would whisper to Morgan "there's one on the left!" As I would say that he would start to walk out and scare the girls in front of Morgan and I. The scariest part was when one monster came out with a chain saw and came after the two girls in front of us. I wasn't about to stand there and watch for long so I dragged Morgan over the girls and ran ahead. If you run away though the monsters chase you so when he caught up I instantly froze and just let him use his chain saw on me.

I hate four legged creatures in the dark!!! Some monsters decided to run out at us on all fours and I went crazy. I would pull Morgan into position between me and the monster and use her as a shield as we walked past. As we would walk past I would be yelling "I hate four legged animals! I hate four legged animals!" One time though, Morgan didn't move and I wasn't going to stand there and wait so I booked it 50 yards ahead to where two girls from our group were.

This is a brief video, near the end, of the last haunted house we did. When I had just whipped out my IPod and I decided it was safe to look around there was a monster right beside me and I jumped and squeezed Morgan. If you looked at me in the haunted houses you would see me with my eyes closed using Morgan as an escort and guide and if my eyes were open then they were looking at the floor.
