Freezing

Yesterday morning at Cattle Show team it was 30 degrees out and no hope of it getting warm any time soon.
I felt really bad for the calves as we had to still wash them with cold water outside in the dark. Once they were all washed and dried they would spend the rest of the cold day in front of fans. I might die!!
Here is my view of the barn from one of the pastures. One pen of the calves we needed to get were let out into the pasture so we had to go herd them up in the dark. It wasn't too difficult once we got them moving and made sure we had all of the black calves.

When we were outside at the hoses washing the calves a student came up to us and asked what class we were apart of that had us come out here at 7 in the morning to wash calves. We said we weren't in a class.
girl:"so what is this for?
us: "cattle show team."
she replied: "you get up this early for fun??!!"
Us: "yep!"
Everyone else at the barn this early in the morning is there for a grade for Nutrition class. Where as we are there on our own will and choice.
