Never Again

The other night I went out to dinner with Brock, Will, Ashley and Sarah to Dakota's Grill. At the restraunt they have paper table covers that they allow you to color, draw and write on. Sarah was coloring too much for Brock's liking, so I told her lets play tic-tac-toe. First game was a cats game and then the second ended way too quickly as I was distracted with talking to someone and didn't realize that I had just messed up when Sarah went to put an 'x' in the middle of her 3 in a row. As she just went to go and mark her 'x' I screamed/yelled the loudest 'no' you could imagine. I wasn't even thinking until it was out of my mouth. Instantly everyone stopped and looked at us as everyone at the table pulled their phones out and pretended they didn't know me. We couldn't stop laughing or shaking our heads for nearly 15 minutes.

Now I have heard that Brock and Will are never taking me out to dinner again:( I was telling Ashley and Sarah that I couldn't believe I did that and they just said "we knew it was going to happen at some point." You gotta love your friends:)
Looking good with Marie's glasses. She is so blind! I got a headache.

Fun Hair Day

Sarah and I sending photos to Marie and rubbing it in her face that she was missing out on the best Hendo meal in along time. I LOVE my friends! I'm most definitely going to miss them.

As a study break and de-stresser Ashley and I made Sarah have a funny hair day. All of us were laughing so hard.
Princess Leia

A gnome?

I'm Gonna Miss Him

On Wednesday last week we had to still come out to the barn to clean our stalls one last time. It was a very emotional time as I had to say good-bye to this angel. He is the sweetest boy! I was very lucky and fortunate to have him for both semesters.

Darwin and Sarah, the cleaners at the barn, gave all the freshman hoof picks, with our name on them. They are the sweetest couple!

Easter wasn't over yet on campus. There was a campus wide Easter egg hunt going on in the afternoon and this little guy was a little confused.

Our Fortress

Marie and I finally made our blanket fortress

It was so warm until the blankets slowly started falling down

Easter Festivities

Our Saturday evening consisted of decorating Easter eggs for tomorrow's deviled eggs. All the kids gathered around the kitchen table as we got busy attempting to be creative in our decorating skills.

Easter morning we came downstairs to our Easter baskets filled with all types of goodies.

Sarah's younger brother Jon and Josh were in the Sunrise service so we went to church at 8 for that service then enjoyed a delicious breakfast afterwards put on by the church as we waited for the actual Easter service to start. Their church was so cute and the people were so nice. I had just walked through the door when I was getting hugs from everyone as they smiled and said how glad that they were that I was there that morning. The people were so nice!

After church we girls got some cute photos with the best angels around

After church we, Sarah and I, took the dogs a family walk around the block

It's time to feast!

All the food we ate was homemade and delicious. I found that Sarah's family really, really likes bacon. There was literally bacon bits on everything and I mean everything! On the pasta salad, beans, salad, potatoes and then we had the ham. They sure like their pig meat!
After our tummies were filled with the delicious meal, all the kids had an Easter egg hunt. Sarah has two other cousins that were with us at dinner too. I think I won the hunt:) Sarah was scaring me and making me nervous leading up to the hunt as she said that it was going to be WWIII. If you were going for the same egg as her then she would plow you over and get that egg, whatever it would take.

After all the eggs were emptied there was a little bit of an egg war, as we pelted eggs at each other.

She's so cute and an amazing girl!

Grandma's famous apple dumplings. That's Aunt Cindy cutting them

Grandma's apple dumpling with homemade ice cream couldn't be any more sweeter and filling. You really only need half of a dumpling and a small scoop of ice cream before you're ready to call it quits

Start of Break

Got to meet the famous Chex that Sarah talks and loves so much.

He sheds like crazy

Everyone poking out their head on this warm and sunny day

Most beautiful horse named Graham

My ride, Scotch

Isn't he cute?!

More Llama time

Cassie and I with one of the llamas

Yep this is going to happen...

Marie and I had a water balloon fight right before I left to go to Sarah's house for Easter break. The sling shots didn't exactly work real well in launching the balloons so we resorted to just throwing them. Although, the sling shots did launch rocks really well.

Birthday Girl

Last Wednesday was my riding final with Ms. Abby. We did really well and I hate to say good-bye to this class and the people in it. It was a good time though.

After my final I got right to work on putting together Marie's birthday dinner. We were going to surprise her with a special dinner of lasagna, jello, fruit, garlic bread, pizza and pasta salad. All day I had her doing different things via riddles. I guess she really liked it.
My most favorite part of the meal right here
Got this prank off pinterest of frosting a sponge. Yep I'm pranking the birthday girl:)

She has arrived!!!!!

Our delicious feast

Marie trying to cut into the cake. She totally fell for it! I was trying so hard not to laugh.

No worries we had a real cake for her to actually cut though

We all thought she looked like a dragon

It's kind of hard talking on the phone when your face is covered in frosting

Llamas and Alpacas Oh My

Got to go out to the barn last week and play with the Llamas and Alpacas. Here is Sarah with Princess Leia

Everyone's favorite was Dutchess the miniature pony. She is so fat that Dr. Kerns made us take her out of the pen and run her around while everyone else walked the llamas and alpacas. When he said run, he meant it! Whoever got to lead her had to run laps around the barn with her.

Hardest Thing Ever

For our last Japan meeting we got to practice using chop sticks. To practice our eating and use of the chop sticks we ate peanuts and some sort of cracker. It was so hard to pick up the food and then just another challenge to get it to my mouth. I had the most trouble.
I eventually got the hang of it, but I won't promise you anything impressive.

Oh Yeah, Jack Pot

One Sunday night after bible study I was walking past the RA station and Will was on duty, one of the RA's I know. He wanted me to get him some Steak n' Shake so he gave me his credit card and almost the keys to the car, but he preferred that I destroy Dallas' car instead. Dallas was so kind to let us use his car to go get food.
