Start of the Birthday Weekend

Thursday was Sarah's birthday and we hit it off starting at the very first minute of the day with singing and presents. I am so glad that Sarah and I became friends this year. It's hard to believe how far we have come in one school year. Were hoping and praying that Sarah and Ashley can live on my floor or at least the same building next year.
On our way to the barns we got a face makeover.

For the birthday girl we processed the new born piglets by giving them iron injections, docking their tails, ear notching and trimming their teeth.

For dinner we went out to Olive Garden, the birthday girl got to pick. At dinner we made a rule that all the phones and electronic devices went on silent and sat in the middle of the table, so no one would be distracted or on their phones the whole time.

The birthday girls.

Dessert buffet

Sarah was able to get a free dessert, but they failed to say that it was just a spoonful of chocolate.

After stuffing our faces with some amazingly rich food from Olive Garden we went back to Sarah's room for presents.

This was my present.

Reese's cups and Dove chocolates on an S shaped wreath. That was a lot of chocolate in one place!
