Morning Shift

Woke up early today and went out to train the calves again. Today the weather is in the 50s and this morning probably the 40s; aka cold. After haltering all the calves we then had to brush all the manure off of the calves. That is a lot harder than you may think. The manure was caked on them and I felt bad as I practically ripped their hair out with the clumps of manure.

Came back and went back to bed, I just got up.

  1. What time did you have to be at the barn for halter breaking? 36 degrees here when I left for work at 6:30a.m.!

  2. I had to be at the barn at 7:00am, but that means we have to leave campus at 6:30 and get up at 6:00am. It was cold, that's all that I know.
