Genesee Country Village and Museum

Yesterday we; my cousins, my family and I, went to the Genesee Country Village and Museum for Farmer Boy. It was a beautiful day to go. One of our favorite parts was when we were looking at Christmas and Thanksgiving squared. Then a little girl came up and was talking to her friend and asked what they were. Her friend replied 'They're roosters!!!' Instantly, all of us looked at each other and burst out into laughter as we walked away and said 'yeah a rooster that goes gobble, gobble!'
Later we headed to the stilts. I said that they looked like peg legs and asked how could someone walk with two peg legs?
H: You only have a peg leg if you are missing one leg.
Me: Well, what if you lose both of your legs?
H: Then you get prosthetics.
Me: Why don't you just get prosthetics from the beginning?

How many people does it take to walk on stilts?? In our case ALOT:)

Trying our hands at tinsmithing.

Waiting for the anvil to go off. That was the coolest thing EVER!! I want to try it:) They had two anvils and put gunpowder in between the two and then a wick. Once the wick was lit you run and wait. The second shot was the best one with 1/2lb of gunpowder.
