Gymnastics on Horse Back

Here's my favorite horse and friend at the barn!
Peanut!!!

Today in my riding class we changed it up a little bit. We rode along the rail at a walk and trot with one foot pulled up to our butt and then we switched feet. Soon enough we were riding with no legs at a trot and then came the difficult part...loping with no stirrups. I was thoroughly impressed with myself. Then we were doing scissors with our legs, no stirrups, at a trot and all these "gymnastic moves." I kind of liked the change in events and the mixing up of the gaits and what feet we could and could not use. I hope we do some more next class!
