Brrrrrrrr

Nothing like below zero wind chill again...I guess tonight it is suppose to get down to -8.

But it was not cold enough to keep us from a fun day at the barn.
This lucky guy got to stay in the maternity room with all the other goats and sheep.

He has a bad habit of licking his penis, which is bad because the calf can infect itself and spread the bacteria to other calves if he was in contact with them.

Our three patients for the day

Two new born kids and their mom

Just finished giving injections and now getting ready to dock the tail and tag its ear.

I was the designated holder for the docking of the tail. It was a little awkward the way you had to hold them, but this little ram and I made it work.

Yeah, I just did that tag!!!

After processing the lambs we went to go and play with the dairy calves. Now the dairy calves have ring worm so we had to be extra careful with where we put our hands once we touched them.

After getting all six of them haltered we took them on walks around the barn.
