In Intro to Animal Science class yesterday we made muscles.
We took a lot of uncooked spaghetti noodles to make up the myofibril.
Then we put the spaghetti noodles inside a manicotti noodle; which represented the muscle fiber.
To make up the muscle bundle we took a few of the spaghetti and manicotti bundles and wrapped them together in plastic wrap. This helped to picture the muscle and how it is put together and functions. I never thought of doing it with pasta.
