For church we, my roommate and I, went to the contemporary service on campus. It was a lot like the church service at home, just a few less people. Found a lot of great small groups that I want to join, but of course the one I really want to join is during the one evening class I have all week:(

 

 

Had giveaways, games, information tables going for all of the students. This table was for the student success center where we had rubber ducky races.

 

All you can eat ice cream 24/7! This is the life!!

 

Two new friends that we made. Left to Right is Morgan, my roommate, Ky and Jenny.

Football tunnel with probably over 1000 students. We filled the whole perimeter of the football field!

 

Playing a game where we are in a big circle and then they call something out and if you have done it you have to run to the middle and high five everyone or at least five people. For example, whoever has gotten a speeding ticket, if you had gotten a speeding ticket you ran to the middle. The best one was when they said "in a committed relationship" and once everyone who was in one left a guy nearby turned to all the girls and said "Hi, I'm Tom!"  

 



Huge game of rock paper scissors. You got a partner and played best out of three and then if you lost you followed the winner around and cheered their name. Eventually we got down to the last two; which had to be lifted up on top of the football players' shoulders so we could all see what the result was.

 

Tomorrow is the first day of classes! I'm a little nervous, but it will hopefully go smoothly. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated! I will keep you posted on the results. See you later! Time to get some shut eye and ready for a big day.
