Simply Crepes

Had my favorite dinner and lunch meals and now for breakfast at Simply Crepes; delicious!!!!

It was great enjoying the amazing food with my grandparents and the Burns'. I had a great time.

Home Food

Home Sweet Home and the first food of the day is Bruster's. How awesome is it that they just opened the day I was headed home! Oh how I have missed real ice cream!!!

and real pizza... Ohio does not know how to make pizza. 

Thursday is half off banana split day! How could I pass that up?!

Ride Home

On our way home from break Cassie and I took a quick pit stop to stretch our legs at this tack shop. I have never seen so many boots in one place! The walls were covered in boots on both sides.

Once at Cassie's house I got to finally see her brother's lifted truck. He had it lifted last time I had seen i, but now he had added 40" tires!

He even took us for a ride around town. We were so high up that we were eye level with the semi trucks.

Crazy

It was -15 degrees outside the day before break and Chris, a guy in my Calc 2 class, was wearing shorts!

Apparently, he was wearing shorts because he did not feel like doing laundry and all his jeans and sweatpants were dirty.

Coldstone Visit

The week before break I headed to Coldstone Creamery with Jenise, Haley, Cassie and Emily for an evening treat. I couldn't make up my mind on what flavor I wanted so...

I actually only got three, one for Sarah and the other two for me. I couldn't decide if I was in a fruity or chocolate mood.

Busy Busy Busy

After watching the birth of the kids and processing the lambs, we got to work rounding up all the goat kids in the goat pen.

Our job was to go in and gather up all the kids so that we could go in numerical order and give each of them two booster shots.

No we weren't done yet! We climbed over to the sheep pen now and were given a ram. Today he would be getting castrated. I was the lucky person who got to cut off the scrotum. This was by far the best day in animal handling!

Beautiful Moment

Enjoyed the opportunity to watch a kid being born during our class a few weeks ago. The kid's head was out, but the front legs were no where to be seen so we brought the mother into the maternity room. One of our teacher's assistants maneuvered the kid so that she could get both of the front legs out. Once the kid was delivered Mandy, our TA, got palpating gloves on and palpated the mother to see if there was another kid. To our luck there was one more kid in the womb and we got to watch the whole process of getting the kid out.

After the first kid was delivered Mandy removed the goop from the kid's face and then stuck a piece of straw in its nose. Sticking the piece of straw in the nose forces the kid to take its first breath and sneeze.
