Day 2

Day 2 at the FRC and I cannot complain! Jenise and I were there from 1-5; the whole time they were open. I tried out the rock wall for the first time and had somewhat of a good time. I don't think I am the rock wall climbing kind of person though.

I even got in a basketball game, played some ping pong and worked out in the cardio center. Even though I did not get much accomplished I did enjoy the time outside of my room and not sitting around. Then tonight we headed to a dorm building meeting and the girls decided it would be a good idea and funny to go down in bathrobes and towels. Don't worry they were dressed! We did get some weird looks though.

Muffins?

I had dinner with my floor mates last night and we had a great time talking and laughing. They really are a nice group of girls. At the dessert bar there were some chocolate chip muffins that two girls had tried and really liked. So I asked if one of them could get me one when they got up. Well, one was most definitely not enough apparently, as she walked back with the whole platter! She could not do it without smiling and the tables she walked by were in awe, shocked or laughing too.

We did manage to eat all of the muffins and then returned the platter back to the dessert bar.

Freedom!!!

Yesterday the school opened up the Fitness Center from 1-5 for students to come and use. The best idea yet! Finally something to do that is not outside in the negative degree weather and not in the dorm. There were a ton of people there though. Every single machine in the cardio center had someone on it and was being used; you know how big that room is and all the machines in it?! Yeah I was in shock and impressed. The basketball court had over 20 people waiting to play.

Some More Dancing

So on Monday night we played some more Just Dance Wii, but this time we had the 2014 version. It was a lot more intense as we weren't all crammed into a dorm room. We were down in the main lobby of another residence hall that is connected to ours.

In order for us to have enough room we had to move the pool table out of the way. You would think that would be an easy task, but you might want to think again. It took all of us, eight girls, to move the table off the carpet and six feet over. When we were done dancing and all tired out we had to move the table back. Easier said than done. We went to lift up the table and the bottom fell out from the table part, so we were faced with not only the weight dilemma, but also a broken table. It took us forever to put back together and we couldnt lift it anymore all by ourselves so we had to go to get help. After probably an hours worth of lifting and setting down and lifting and setting down we got the pool table close enough to its original home.

You Can Say That Again

And again...and again...
Three snow days in a row...in college! That's more than I have had all my life!

Chilled to the Bone

Yep! Morgan and I walked all around campus in this weather just for the fun of it.

I personally liked getting outside and breathing some fresh chilled air.

Oh and as we were walking Morgan's phone dropped out of her pocket. So we had to back track and we found it before a snowplow did.

Relax

Classes have been cancelled for Monday, so we are hanging around eating some KFC and watching Sherlock Holmes 1 and 2.

The storm finally decided to hit in the late afternoon.

With being stuck inside and doing nothing but sleeping all day, we had a fun dance party in the evening as we played Just Dance Wii.
